I am so excited to finally be blogging about the gorgeous wedding of Kelly and Lewis, which took place at the fabulous Deer Park Country House Hotel near Honiton in Devon a few weeks ago. This is a day that will live a long time in the memory. There was so much laughter, so many smiles and oodles and oodles of love. Kelly looked absolutely stunning in her elegant 1920's inspired Jenny Packham dress, having had her hair styled by the lovely Louise Alway, and applying her own make up. Her four bridesmaids also looked stunning in their beautiful ASOS dresses, which complemented the button holes and pocket squares of Lewis and his groomsmen perfectly. All of whom looked extremely dapper and handsome in their French Connection suits and bowties. Personalised straws, chalkboards and jam jar favours, handmade by the bride herself sat beautifully alongside vintage glass and tableware, and the gorgeous table plan and menus, which were designed by the extremely talented Sincerely May, who also created the beautiful bespoke wedding invitations for the big day.
You may remember, when I posted photos of their engagement shoot, I said that these two just love to laugh and enjoy themselves as much as they can. They are so comfortable in each other's company that they more or less forget that there is anyone else around them, and this was the case during their ceremony. As soon as Kelly stood next to Lewis, took his hand in hers and looked into his eyes she was gone, lost in a world of fun and joy all of their own. It was one of those heart warming moments where love overcomes all other emotions and you just can't help but be swept up in it all.
Spending time in Kelly and Lewis' company and being surrounded by their wonderful friends and family on such a special day was a real privilege.
